A Text Model to Prepare a Paper for the EuroPACS'98 Meeting Joaquim Piqueras, Joan-Carles Carreņo, and Javier Lucaya. Radiology Dept. Hospital Materno-infantil Vall d'Hebron E-08035 Barcelona, Spain Objective (note: It is optional and may enclose a 'teaching interest') After this presentation the audience will know how to deal with paper structures. We think that this method is innovative at this meeting. Introduction EuroPACS does not force to use a very formal/academic style, but it is better to read well structured documents. The objective of this paper is to be a self-explanatory unit displaying how to prepare a paper for the EuroPACS'98 proceedings. Material and Methods (note: It may be 'System Description') Papers should be in English, with a maximum length of 4 (four) A4 size pages, (note: you may ask for a review by our professional staff). Leave 1 inch, 25 mm., along all margins. Do not number the pages. A times-roman font (or similar fonts) with a font-size of 14 point should be used for the body, and 18 point used for the title. Interspacing should be 'simple'. Right margins are justified. Title, authors, and subheadings should use boldface and are centered. Avoid using uppercase in the title or subheadings: lowercase is easier to read. You may use hyphenation to avoid long blanks between words. The paper should contain: Authors names, department, institution, city and country. The body may be structured following this model or your abstract. Presenting author may appear underlined on the abstract. Corresponding address should appear at the bottom (You may use an smaller font if you need to). Figures and references should appear numbered in the text (1,2). Please, send a one (1) camera-ready printed copy to the organizing committee by conventional mail, and a version by e-mail in MS-Word 6.0 to: jpiquer@ar.vhebron.es. Results All papers have followed a relatively homogeneous style and enclosed on the EuroPACS'98 Proceedings and EuroPACS'98 Web site. Discussion (note: It may enclose 'Conclusion') Formalism on paper preparation is not strictly necessary or mandatory, but if it does not constrain the intellectual freedom of the authors, or innovative methods for transferring information among humans, is the preferred way for presenting scientific information. Conclusion EuroPACS'98 manuscript handling has been a satisfactory experience. References (up to 4/6 very relevant) 1.- Piqueras J.
