www.PediatricRad.info wishes to serve the Internet community with information on the field of Pediatric Radiology - a subspeciality of Diagnostic Imaging.

This site is promoted by a group of pediatric radiologist who belong to the Pediatric Radiology dept. Hospital Materno-infantil Vall d'Hebron, Barcelona, Spain. 'Hospital Vall d'Hebron is a teaching and research medical center associated to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). 

We perform diagnostic imaging examinations in pediatric patients and young adults, and we do applied clinical research. We have a particular interest in teaching Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging.

Beyond these activities, assessment, research and development in information technologies in Radiology is a field of interest. The department has been a pionner in Spain in networking, RIS, computed radiography, PACS and teleradiology among others.

Even many of our public documents are in English, some of them are only in Catalan and Spanish. We have tried to make them easily readable, multilingual or very graphical. In case of need you may try Google translations.
